The  mission of TruKidz is to empower our youth through youth development,  leadership, creative thinking, communications, and  service.

Goals and Priorities

1.   Build awareness about bullying and the critical role of students,
parents, families and school officials.
 
              - Raise awareness through school assemblies, afterschool programs,
                events and in the media.
 
              - Launch a comprehensive, coordinated campaign to bring awareness
                to the community, the state and the nation.

              - Change culture on school campus through curriculum which is youth
                 led.
 
2.    To provide a safe environment for youth where they have access to
supportive asset building opportunities. 
 
                - Increase youth and community involvement.

                - Provide a safe environment for youth to learn the arts, critical 
                  thinking and other life skills.


 

3.   Promote, support and engage youth and families in our schools, communities, state and nation through service. 
 
              - Educate and motivate youth to become effective advocates for
                themselves and others.
  
              - Increase the visibility of TruKidz program efforts and
                accomplishments.
  
              - Promote youth programs that are exciting and encourage youth, their
                families and  adults to volunteer.
